ROLES WE’RE LOOKING FOR

AUDIT TRAINEE (X2)

Robson Laidler is currently looking for an Audit Trainee to join our Audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either start or continue your accounting career and join a successful and thriving company that offers a varied and exciting role. Here at Robson Laidler we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and a flair or passion for audit & accounts. You will be motivated, ambitious and willing to undertake ongoing training and professional development. You will also possess a real desire to start or further your accounting career within an accounting practice and be willing to work towards the relevant qualifications.

Full study support is provided with this role through the AAT qualification and ongoing professional development.

Salary: £11,500 – £16,500pa (base salary will increase within this band as exams progress)

Hours of work: Permanent, full time – 36.5hrs.  We operate a flexible working policy.

Location: Jesmond, Newcastle

ACCOUNTS TRAINEE (Healthcare Team)

Robson Laidler is currently looking for a Account Healthcare Trainee to join our Healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to either start or continue your accounting career and join a successful and thriving company that offers a varied and exciting role. Here at Robson Laidler we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and a flair for accounts and who might want to specialise in Healthcare. You will be motivated, ambitious and willing to undertake ongoing training and development. You will also possess a real desire to start or further your accounting career within an accounting practice and be willing to work towards the relevant qualifications.

Full study support is provided with this role through the AAT qualification and ongoing professional development.

Salary: £11,500 – £16,500pa (base salary will increase within this band as exams progress)

Hours of work: Permanent, full time – 36.5hrs.  We operate a flexible working policy.

Location: Jesmond, Newcastle

AUDIT SEMI-SENIOR

Robson Laidler is currently looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join our Audit Team in our Jesmond location.  Ideally you will be someone with an AAT qualification (or currently studying) as a minimum and have worked in an accountancy practice background and have experience of working in an audit team.  We will also consider people qualified by relevant experience.  Study support may available for ongoing professional development.

Salary: £16,500 – £25,000pa (dependent on experience or qualification)

Hours of work: Permanent, full time – 36.5hrs.  We operate a flexible working policy.

Location: Jesmond, Newcastle

TAX SENIOR / PERSONAL TAX & COMPLIANCE – DURHAM

Robson Laidler is currently looking to fill a Tax Senior / Personal Tax & Compliance role in our Chester-le-Street office.

Taking on your own portfolio of c300 clients ranging from HNWI, Partners and Directors, you will ideally already be working in a personal tax environment and be confident with tax return preparation.

In addition to the completion of returns you will be responsible for answering your clients questions regarding their tax affairs, including capital gains tax & Inheritance tax.

This may well suit someone already working in compliance or someone wishing to expand their client portfolio exposure with the potential to grow in to a future advisory role.

Preferably you will be someone with an ATT qualification however this is not essential if you bring relevant experience with you & have worked in an accountancy practice background with good experience of preparing year-end personal tax returns.

Salary: £20’000 – £28’000

Hours of work: Permanent, full time – 36.5hrs (we operate a flexible hours policy)

Location:  Chester le Street.
